30-11-2007: Dutch government willing to retain support Uruzgan


After weighing all the different factors, the Dutch government is willing to retain the main responsibility for supporting the Afghan authorities in Uruzgan, with a strong focus on reconstruction and governance, for an additional period -restricted in time- of two years: that is, from 1 August 2008 to 1 August 2010.

The Consulate General of The Netherlands in Toronto is a diplomatic mission of the Dutch government, which has its seat in The Hague. It represents the Kingdom of the Netherlands to all authorities of the Canadian provinces of Ontario, Manitoba and Nunavut.

Business Hours of the Consulate General:
Open to the public from 09:00 - 12:00 Mondays through Fridays.
General office hours are 09:00 - 17:00 on business days.
The consulate is closed on Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays.

Furthermore, the Kingdom of The Netherlands is represented in several regions by Honorary Consulates.
